Studio Zik carries on the business of online sale of used music and studio equipment, to consumers and professionals, within the European Union, Switzerland and the United Kingdom. The company does not carry on any regulated activity subject to prior authorisation or registration with a professional body.
In accordance with its commercial policy, published and restated at every stage of the purchase journey, StudioZik:
- accepts two secure payment methods: card payment, with 3-D Secure strong authentication via Stripe Payments Europe, Ltd., and SEPA bank transfer;
- operates by shipping only, to the exclusion of any collection in person;
- sells used goods, whose condition is described individually on each product page.
5. Intellectual property
All elements making up the website — structure, navigation tree, texts, product descriptions, photographs, illustrations, logos, graphic design, databases, source code and specific developments — are protected by intellectual property law and are the exclusive property of Studio Zik or its licensors.
Any reproduction, representation, adaptation, translation, extraction or re-use, in whole or in part, on any medium and by any process, without the publisher's prior written authorisation, is unlawful and constitutes infringement punishable under Articles L. 335-2 and L. 343-1 of the French Intellectual Property Code.
The trade marks, trade names and models mentioned on the site (in particular Elektron, Akai Professional, Moog Music, Sequential, Allen & Heath, Audient, RME, Dangerous Music, Event Electronics, Warm Audio, Eventide, Kemper, Line 6, Boss, ESP, Alesis) remain the exclusive property of their respective owners. Studio Zik is neither an authorised distributor, nor an agent, nor a partner of the manufacturers cited.
6. Product photographs
The photographs published on product pages show the actual unit offered for sale, photographed in our workshops. They are not generic manufacturer visuals. Any signs of use visible in these photographs form an integral part of the contractual description of the goods.
7. Hyperlinks
The site may contain links to third-party websites. Studio Zik exercises no control over those sites and disclaims all liability as to their content, availability, personal data practices or the consequences of consulting them.
Creating a hyperlink to the site is permitted for non-commercial use, provided that framing is not used, that the image of StudioZik is not harmed and that no non-existent partnership is implied. Studio Zik reserves the right to request the removal of any link that does not comply with these conditions.
8. Liability
Studio Zik takes reasonable steps to ensure that the information published on the site is accurate and up to date. Typographical errors, omissions or technical inaccuracies may nevertheless remain; they cannot engage the publisher's liability.
The publisher cannot be held liable for:
- damage resulting from fraudulent intrusion by a third party into its information systems;
- temporary unavailability of the site due to maintenance, network failure or force majeure;
- use of the site that does not comply with its intended purpose;
- contamination of the user's device by a virus or any harmful element whose source is not attributable to the publisher.

This legal notice is governed by French law. That designation does not deprive a consumer resident in another EU Member State of the protection afforded by the mandatory provisions of the law of their habitual residence, in accordance with Article 6 of Regulation (EC) No 593/2008 ("Rome I").
